pedro Linares López’s feverish dream is a fascinating story that explains where this artistic concept came from, which today is an icon followed by many artisans.

Born on June 29, 1906 in Mexico City, Linares and his family were dedicated to the trade of cardboard. They made piñatas, masks and the typical “judas”. The Judas were immense cardboard devils, created to be cremated every Holy Saturday in various parts of Mexico.
